ILM Highland is delighted to have been shortlisted as a finalist in The Highland Council Award for Purposeful Business at the Prosper Highlands & Islands Business Excellence Awards 2026.
The award recognises ILM Highland’s continued commitment to making a positive difference for People, Place and Planet across the Highlands.
As a social enterprise, purpose is at the heart of everything we do. Through our recycling and reuse services, independent living support, employment opportunities and community-focused projects, we work to deliver practical support while creating wider social and environmental benefits throughout the region.
This recognition comes during an exciting period for ILM Highland, as we continue to develop our services and find new ways to support local people and communities. This includes expanding access to affordable new, nearly new and refurbished appliances, helping people live safely and independently at home, creating opportunities for training and employment, and keeping valuable items in use for longer.
Being named a finalist is a proud achievement for the entire ILM Highland team and reflects the dedication of our staff, partners, customers and supporters who help make this work possible.
The winners will be announced at the Prosper Highlands & Islands Business Excellence Awards ceremony at the Macdonald Drumossie Hotel in Inverness on Thursday 10 September 2026.
We are proud to be recognised alongside other outstanding organisations from across the Highlands and Islands and look forward to celebrating with our fellow finalists in September.
