How it all connects

You Recycle

Drop off your old electricals or book a collection to prevent them going to landfill

We Refurbish

If your item can be re-used, we refurbish it to minimise waste and footprint.

You Buy

From brand new appliances to our refurbished items, your purchase helps save energy.

We reinvest

We reinvest in our community and provide support to those in need.

1,488,032 kg
of CO₂ kept out of the atmosphere through recycling and reuse in 2025
Through recycling 1,456,000 kg
Through reuse 32,032 kg

Reuse saves CO₂ by extending appliance life — avoiding the energy and emissions cost of manufacturing brand new items.

Recycling with a purpose

Every electrical item you bring to us has a measurable impact. Recycling keeps harmful materials out of landfill. Refurbishing keeps resources in the community. Together, they saved over 1.4 million kilograms of CO₂ in 2025.

We're here for you — and your community

Get support at home

Need help at home? Whether it’s a Telecare alarm, a handy person visit or a home adaptation — we’re here. Self-refer or ask your GP, NHS OT or Social Care team to refer you.

Refer someone

Know someone who could benefit from our services? Referrals can come directly from NHS Highland, Highland Council, Social Care partners, or from individuals themselves. Get in touch and we’ll take it from there.

Recycle with us

Anything with a plug, cable or battery can be recycled or refurbished. By recycling with ILM Highland, you directly fund our community services — it’s a circular economy that benefits everyone in the Highlands.
