ILM Highland Goes from Strength to Strength

ILM has been successful in securing a contract for the next two years to deal with all domestic waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) in the Highlands. As a fully authorised treatment facility, ILM will be dealing with over 2,000 tonnes of WEEE each year.

Andy Dytch, ILM General Manager said, "This contract will secure local jobs, as well as enabling us to provide a number of training and work experience places for people trying to find employment. One of the key aspects of this contract is that we will be aiming to increase the amount of reuse from the WEEE that is collected. These refurbished electrical appliances are sold at our onsite shop further supporting jobs."
